Cadet Nguyen Hoang Anh

In the final round of the contest in Vietnam, Hoang Anh, the only contestant from the Military University of Culture and Arts, sang a Chinese and a Vietnamese song. Her performance left deep impression on the jury and music-lovers, bringing her the second prize.

Entering the final of the singing contest with four other Vietnamese contestants, Hoang Anh once again impressed the jury and won the second prize. In this final, she performed the Vietnamese song “Que me” (Motherland) by musician Tran Manh Hung and another Chinese song named “Zui le qiangu ai,” entertaining the audiences with typical cultural colors, creating a symphony of flourishing and sustainable friendship and cultural exchange between Vietnam and China.

Annually organized since 2010 by the Communications Center of the Vietnamese province of Quang Ninh and the Chinese Quangxi Radio-Television, the contest has become a musical bridge consolidating friendship and building a borderline of peace and development between the two countries.

This year, the contest was among a series of practical activities in celebration of the 71st anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - China diplomatic ties and to strengthen the friendship and mutual understanding between the two peoples.
