The Saigon International Watercolor Exhibition, organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, also introduces 11 watercolor paintings by nine painters from countries and territories, including Myanmar, Turkey, the Philippines, Taiwan (China), Malaysia and Thailand. The works focus landscapes and people of Vietnam as well as the country’s customs.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Siu Quy, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Fine Arts Association, highlighted the works on display, saying that they get high appreciation from the municipal Fine Arts Association’s advisory board.

Also at the event, the organizing board reviewed the outcome of the watercolor creation camp held by the city’s association in Ha Giang province early April.

The event will run to May 24.
