According to Director of the Hanoi Cultural Center Ly Thi Thuy Hanh, implementing the Convention on the Protection of Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2003, the center organized the program to arouse the pride among people in the unique traditional cultural values of the nation and Hanoi Capital, while honoring organizations and individuals who have made contribution to preserving the Vietnamese cultural identity during the national integration and development cause.

After three months of launching, the contest received 44 videos from 35 organizations and individuals across the city. The program has inspired local people, especially those who want to preserve and promote traditional cultural values of the nation.

According to Associate Professor, Doctor Tran Thi An, President of the Hanoi Folk Arts Association, Head of the jury, the competition consisted of many unique performances, proving that many people have taken due care of intangible cultural heritage.

In the framework of the event, the organizing panel honored collectives and individuals who made contribution to preserving and promoting Vietnamese cultural identity during the cause of national integration and development.
