Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hai, Head of the Pho Nui Travel Service Centre said it will cooperate with the Dalat Youth Union to organize a Halloween festival at the Love Valley in Dalat.

It is estimated that around 500 young people will take part in the upcoming event with various activities such as studying the tradition of the festival in various countries and in Vietnam, costume contests, art performances, dancing contests, a Halloween lantern making contest and enjoying free wine and roast meat.

The organising board will then present gifts to winners of these contests. In addition, 25 scholarships will be granted to poor students with outstanding academic records from local universities and colleges.

This first Halloween festival will be free for admission for both domestic and foreign visitors.
