The festival features France’s cultural characteristics to local people, while enhancing friendship between Vietnam and France.
Beaujolais Nouveau is a traditional festival of France, taken place on the third Thursday of November every year, when grape harvest ends and new batches of wine are ready for people’s use.
According to the French Ambassador to Vietnam, Bertrand Lortholary, this is the second time the French culinary festival has been held in Hanoi.
The festival will officially take place on November 17.
