The US Documentary Film Company, Ark Media, has just taken it's first shots of a historical documentary film on the My Lai massacre at Son My historical site, Quang Ngai.
The scene that is being recreated is the peaceful image of the village before US troops carried out the slaughter, which killed 504 innocent civilians 41 years ago.
The film-making crew is seeking live eyewitnesses and interviewing them to make the film more vivid and authentic.
According to US artists, the film will probably last 90 minutes and is directed by famous director, writer and script-writer Barak Goodman, and is shot by cameraman Stephen F. McCarth and produced by Barak Goodman.
Reportedly, the film company has made a number of renowned movies, including the ones on the assasination of US President Abraham Lincoln and story about former US President Bill Clinton’s wife, Hillary.
