A fashion show for disabled women will be staged at 31 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street in the ancient city of Hoi An on April 17.

The event, entitled "I’m Beautiful, You Too", will show off the newest collections from Spanish designer Diego from Chula Fashion House, and Hoi An local Trinh Vinh Uyen from the Papillion Noir brand.

The organiers said 25 models from various parts of the nation will take part in the show. It aims to promote the confidence of women with disabilities and honour their beauty at the same time.

It’s the third event of its kind. It first opened in Adelaide in 2014, and another show was staged in the Italian Embassy in Hanoi last year.

Disabled persons living in Hoi An are invited to take part in the show. The show will begin from 3pm on April 17, and is also in honour of the National Day for the Disabled, April 18th.
