A visitor studying some items at the exhibition

PANO – The Vietnam National Museum of History is running an exhibition on the global support for Vietnam during its struggle for national reunification from 1954 to 1975, in Hanoi from April 24th to July 24th.

It is to welcome the 40th anniversary of the South Liberation and National Reunification (April 30th 1975).

Hundreds of items on display highlight the support of 50 countries worldwide, international organizations and conferences for Vietnam’s resistance war to secure the national independence and reunification.

The museum also showcases posters issued by the former Soviet Union, Cuba, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Italy and Germany supporting Vietnam in the country’s national reunification struggle before 1975.

This collection contributes to raising the public awareness of patriotism and firmly protecting the national territorial integrity.
