Following the first five episodes, episode 6 explores the revolutionary thought, ideals, and vision of President Ho Chi Minh and Cuban leader Fidel Castro, highlighting the similarities in their struggles for independence, freedom, and happiness of their peoples.

Drawing on historical documents, archival footage and eyewitness accounts, the episode retraces the revolutionary journeys of the two leaders. It highlights their shared vision of national independence associated with the path toward socialism, as well as the role of culture, education and people in revolutionary causes. The documentary also affirms that the ideological values and vision of the two leaders remain relevant today.

Speaking at the event, Cuban Ambassador to Viet Nam Rogelio Polanco Fuentes said the documentary helps recreate historical milestones and the close ties between the Vietnamese and Cuban peoples. He praised the efforts of Viet Nam’s Ministry of National Defense, the Military Broadcasting Center, and the production team in preserving and promoting the historical, ideological, and humanitarian values of the special relations between the two countries.

Episode 6 will be broadcast at 20:45 on August 12, on the Viet Nam National Defense television channel and its digital platforms.
