In addition to 20 multiple-choice questions about Denmark and the friendship between the two countries, contestants also had a chance to propose their ideas for the next Denmark in Your Eyes contest in 2021, and for the slogan to celebrate the 50th anniversary of establishment of the diplomatic relations between Denmark and Vietnam in 2021.
The contest was enthusiastically participated by students nationwide and received a total of nearly 16,000 entries.
The grand prize went to Nguyen Duc Vuong, a 15-year old student from Hung Yen province. The organizing panel also presented 20 other individual prizes to students from provinces and cities across the country including Hanoi, Khanh Hoa, Tien Giang, Dong Nai, Binh Thuan.
"Denmark and Vietnam will celebrate our 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations next year. So we feel proud to receive many creative ideas from students participating in the contest. Their ideas not only reflect the good and long-term friendship between Denmark and Vietnam, but also boldly outline a bright future of the cooperation between our two countries," said Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Kim Højlund Christensen.
