A five-day International Paragliding Competition 2012 will be held in East Sea Park, Da Nang City on May 30th, 2012.

The competition will involve the participation of nearly 70 athletes from 8 international air-crews from Japan, Argentina, UK, France, USA, Korea, China and Spain to compete in four contents, including scoring flying skills, speed flying skills, team flying skills, and rescue flying skills.

Da Nang City is in searching for Vietnamese athletes with international certificates of paragliding to create a Vietnamese team for the competition.

Apart from the paragliding competition, various interesting activities such as paragliding services, country fair, art stone exhibition, artistic embroidery, Hoi An lanterns will be organised to promote Da Nang tourism for local and foreign tourists.
