Colorful fireworks celebrating National Day in Ho Chi Minh City
PANO - On September 2, Ho Chi Minh City held a fireworks display to celebrate the 79th anniversary of Vietnam’s National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2024) at the Saigon River Tunnel, Thu Thiem ward, Thu Duc city, and Dam Sen Cultural Park.
From early evening, thousands of people flocked to the city center, including areas such as Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street, Ba Son Bridge, Thu Thiem Tunnel, and especially Bach Dang Wharf Park to find an ideal spot, both to watch the art performances and to await the “grand feast” of fireworks celebrating the National Day.
At 21:00, the first sorties of fireworks illuminated the sky of Ho Chi Minh City, commencing the fireworks display celebrating the National Day. The 15-minute show filled the sky with vibrant colors, creating a breath-taking scene that brought happiness to both locals and tourists.
Many people used their cellphones to capture memorable moments of the fireworks display. Meanwhile, the security forces did their utmost to ensure security, order, and traffic safety for both residents and visitors.
