PANO - The Korean Cultural Centre will open the “Playground for Children of the Republic of Korea (RoK) and Vietnam” program on June 1st in Hanoi to celebrate the International Children’s Day.

The event aims to strengthen not only the relationship between Vietnam and RoK, but also the friendship between the two countries’ children, said Director of the centre Park Nark Jong.

Many activities will take place during the program, including the Korean traditional game Tuho (throwing darts into the tube), flipping cards, making Korean handicrafts, throwing water balloons, taking pictures, and experiencing Korean cuisines.

Particularly, the popular Korean troupe “Dream” will perform a family play, entitled “The adventure of chestnut”, which tells the journey of a chestnut along with 3 chipmunks and how they become friends. In addition to the play, there will be many interesting dances and exchanges with audiences.

Over 200 people, including students from the Korean International School and children in Hanoi, are expected to attend the program.

The same program will take place on June 2nd at the Hanoi Korean International School and on June 3rd at the Youth Theatre.
