In the past when science and technology were not developed, the Tay ethnic minority people in Quang Trong commune took advantage of bamboo and neohouzeaua trees in the forest to make items to serve their daily life. Their handmade products, such as mats and baskets could be used for decades without being damaged.

In recent years, although few families in the commune keep the job, elderly people still make bamboo products when they are idle. Especially, many people in Quang Trong commune have taken advantage of social networks to introduce their handmade products to the market.

Below are photos of bamboo handicraft of Tay ethnic minority people in Quang Trong commune.
