Artistic program expresses gratitude to fallen, sick and wounded soldiers
PANO - An artistic program, entitled “Red Flowers,” the 14th of its kind, was held on October 16 in Hanoi as a deep thank to great dedication of fallen, wounded, and sick soldiers, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and other national contributors.
The program was live broadcast on Vietnam Television’s Channel 2 and on the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper’s website: www.dangcongsan.vn.
The event, jointly organized by the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper and other relevant agencies, was to mark the 74th anniversary of the Wounded and Fallen Soldiers’ Day (July 27, 1947 - 2021).
Despite complicated developments of the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizing panel of the program has tried their best to present meaningful gifts to wounded and sick soldiers, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and national contributors in different provinces and cities nationwide to partly ease their difficulties.
The artistic program, consisting of three parts, namely Sacred Vietnam, Vietnam’s spirit, and Vietnam’s pride to rise, recaptured our troops’ and people’s arduous and fierce struggle for national independence and recalled touching stories about the front and the rear during the wars.
Apart from clips, audiences were entertained with famous songs in praise of troops’ sacrifice and dedication, and youths’ aspirations and pride.
