Art program raises fund for needy children
PANO - The National Assembly Television Channel, in association with the Red Cross Society of Hanoi and the Capital Communication Corporation, held an art program themed “Tet for disadvantaged children” on December 25 at the Au Co Art Center.

The program featured performances by famous singers such as Phuong Thao, Dinh Thanh Le, Phuong Anh and others and an exchange with poor children with good academic results.
On this occasion, the organizing panel presented 101 saving books, 10 scholarships, 850 gifts to needy students and donated nearly VND 3 billion to build a monument in commemoration of 2,500 martyrs of Regiment 27 and a stele recognizing the feats of arms of Battery 5 in Trieu Long commune, Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province.
