A Japanese traditional art, Furoshiki (gift wrapping), will be introduced to Vietnamese people through an exhibition and demonstration from March 2nd to 10th at the Japanese Culture Centre in Vietnam.
The upcoming exhibition will display many outstanding Furoshiki designs including products made by Vietnamese students who won prizes at the second International Furoshiki (gift wrapping) Contest in Japan.
In addition, the centre will open a training course under the instruction of two Japanese experts Handa Hiroki and Yamamoto Yoko on this typical art of Japan
Earlier, Phan Khanh Trang and three other Vietnamese students, won four prizes at the second International Furoshiki Contest, including the Grand Prize, two consolation prize - Merit Prize and one Honorary Prize - Honourable Mention.
