PANO – After the success of the 1st painting contest “I draw Vietnam – I draw Russia” last year, the Russia-Vietnam Friendship Association (RVFA), the Pushkin Sub-Institute and the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association (VRFA) launched the 2nd contest in Vietnam.
The contest is to discover young talents and to offer exchange opportunities for youths of Vietnam and Russia so that they can learn about history, culture and traditions of the two countries.

Paintings will feature various topics, such as the two countries’ heroes, Vietnam-Russia friendship, the two peoples, and the traditions and history of the two nations.
The contest involves three age groups: 8 years old and below, from 9 to 12 and from 12 to 16. Each participant can submit one entry. All entries must be submitted to the Pushkin Sub-Institute before November 15th.
The panel accepts paintings in pencil, gouache, watercolor, pastel, and oil paintings. Paintings must be on paper sheets sized between 30x40cm and 50x70cm.
The panel will present one special prize – a trip to Russia, one first, one second and one third prizes to the winners. The results will be announced on November 30th on the website of the RVFA, VRFA and the Sub-Institute.
