The diplomat highlighted the promotion of the enhanced strategic partnership through the “Three Connects” strategy which was mentioned by Don at the Vietnam - Thailand Business Forum held in June 2022 in Thailand, adding that the two sides should enhance the strategy's awareness among government units, enterprises, and people in the time ahead.

Regarding collaboration between the two Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Thanh suggested the two sides soon implement a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the two ministries, study and conduct visits and learn from each other's experiences in order to increase exchanges and bilateral connectivity.

He hoped that Thailand will support the establishment of Vietnamese culture and education centers and Vietnamese studies centers at Thai universities as well as the teaching and learning of Thai language in Vietnam.

As the two countries are celebrating the 10th founding anniversary of strategic partnership (2013-2023), Thanh expected that the two sides will maintain meetings and exchanges of delegations at the high-level.

For his part, Don said he was glad to see that Thailand - Vietnam relations have been developing fruitfully both in bilateral aspects and multilateral mechanisms in the region.

He expressed his wish that the Vietnamese government will continue to create favorable conditions for Thai groups and enterprises investing in Vietnam and emphasized the importance of collaboration in several areas such as economy, culture and people-to-people exchanges between the two countries, especially the introduction of Thailand’s Philosophy of Sufficiency Economy to the neighboring country.
