The two sides agreed to enhance cooperation between the functional agencies of the two countries' Ministries of Foreign Affairs; closely coordinate to effectively implement the Action Program for the implementation of the strategic partnership in the 2022-2027 period; promote the signing of important documents in various fields, contributing to deepening the strategic partnership between the two countries.

They also agreed to further promote cooperation in important areas such as agriculture, transportation, maritime cooperation, tourism, culture, education, people-to-people exchanges, and twinning activities among localities.

Both sides affirmed their desire to build the East Sea (South China Sea) into a peaceful, stable, cooperative, and developed maritime region; together with ASEAN countries, strictly implement the Declaration on the Conduct of Parties in the East Sea (DOC), strive to achieve early the effective and efficient Code of Conduct in the East Sea (COC), in accordance with international law and the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) 1982.
