Lao and Cambodian students celebrate traditional New Year festivals in Vietnam

The event, jointly organized by the Kon Tum provincial People’s Committee and the local chapter of the Da Nang University, was held for Lao and Cambodian students to celebrate the traditional New Year festivals Bunpimay and Chol Chnam Thmay.

During the festival, delegates and students participated in various activities, including Cambodia’s New Year’s Eva ceremony, praying for blessings, thread tying ceremony, dancing, culinary culture exchange, folk games, and water festival, among others.

On the occasion, the Kon Tum provincial People’s Committee and other units presented gifts and extended New Year greetings to Lao and Cambodian students who are studying in the province.
