In a friendly atmosphere, Lao Ambassador Kham-Inh Khitchadeth sent his warmest congratulations to the Party, State and people of Vietnam, highly appreciating the socio-economic development and foreign affairs achievements that Vietnam has achieved in over the past time and strongly affirming that the position of Vietnam in the international arena has been increasingly enhanced.

He also highlighted the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation, nurtured by generations of leaders and people of Laos and Vietnam. These are valuable assets that the two peoples need to continue strengthening and developing. He expressed his hope that the two embassies will continue to maintain the tradition of good exchange and cooperation in the coming time.

On behalf of the Vietnamese Embassy in France, Vietnamese Ambassador Dinh Toan Thang thanked the Lao embassy’s staff for their greetings.

Pleased with the strong, substantive and effective development of the relationship between the two parties and two countries in all fields, he affirmed that the Vietnam-Laos ties represent a closely-knit relationship. The two sides have always wholeheartedly supported each other in the national construction, defense and development cause.

The Vietnamese diplomat affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy will continue to promote close coordination with its Lao counterpart to actively contribute to protecting, preserving and enhancing the traditional and special relationship between Vietnam and Laos.

The meeting took place in a cozy and friendly atmosphere, demonstrating the close, long-lasting relationship, solidarity and fraternity between Vietnam and Laos.
