The Joint Coordination Committee of the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam (CLV) Development Triangle Area convened its ninth meeting in Siem Reap, Cambodia on September 12th.
Cambodian Minister of Commerce Sun Chanthol, Lao Minister of Planning and Investment Somdy Douangdy, and Vietnamese Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh co-chaired the event.

The officials spoke highly of the outcomes of a series of CLV meetings held on September 9th-11th, including the seventh meeting on trade, investment and tourism promotion; the seventh meeting of the CLV Security and Foreign Affairs Sub-committee; and the seventh meeting of the Economic Affairs Sub-Committee.
They stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation amongst the three countries on a number of issues, including security, culture, education, and the environment, as a contribution to maintaining peace, security and development in the area.
The ministers signed the official minutes of the meeting, in which they announced the CLV Summit scheduled for November 23rd-25th in Vientiane, Laos.
