First group discovers the “Kong' house” with kayaks
PANO - A team of young people kayaked for four hours exploring the world heritage of Trang An in Ninh Binh province.
Trang An is the latest destination for the kayak-loving team, including members from Hanoi, Ha Long, and Da Nang cities. According to the organizing panel of the Trang An Tourism Complex, this is the first time Trang An has allowed visitors to row kayak during the tour.
The 28-member team on 15 kayaks explore the world heritage of Trang An.
It is a five-kilometer kayak journey to Trang An via “Kong: Skull Island” newly-rebuilt studio including Skull Island and Kong Mountain.
Nguyen Ngoc Minh, one of the team members, says that many of them have visited Trang An several times before, but they still enjoy the beauty of the heritage on kayaks.
Along the way are water lilies, which will produce purple flowers when blooming in autumn.
Boats are the only means to explore Trang An because they can take visitors through the caves, some of whose ceilings are just about one meter above the water. In Trang An, there are more than 1,000 boats available to customers daily. However, discovering the area on kayaks is a new experience as visitors can row themselves.
Kayaking is not very difficult but visitors should practice before they start.
Aboriginal village is the final stop in Trang An. Members also took pictures with the “aborigines”.
