Apart from tourist attractions and beautiful beaches, the city is also remembered by the glowing pink of thousands of Bougainvillea trees on streets.
The most beautiful blooming season of the flower in the city is from March to June. On sunny days, the flowers are more colorful than ever while their canopies cover the sidewalks.
The bougainvillea trees are normally planted on the sidewalks, inside parks, and in front of offices, schools or houses.
A bougainvillea tree is about one to three meters in height. Its truss is an ideal resting place for people.

Bach Thai Buoi street is known as the most beautiful flower street of the city with 60 bougainvillea trees.
The flowers are pruned regularly.
