Vietnam Airlines to operate Hanoi-Sydney direct air route
PANO – The Hanoi-Sydney direct air route will be operated from March 28 by its Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft with three flights a week, said Vietnam Airlines, the national flag carrier of Vietnam.

The flights are scheduled to depart from Hanoi at 23.55 and from Sydney at 15.15 (summer time) and 14.15 (winter time). A journey between the two destinations takes about 9 hours and 35 minutes.
On the occasion of the opening of this new air route, special round-trip air fares are now offered at from VND 11,990,000 (USD 500) for flights departing between March 28 and April 28. The offer will run until February 28.
Another promotion program will take place during March, offering ticket prices from VND 14,690,000 (USD 650) for flights run between March 28 and June 20.
Earlier, Vietnam Airlines opened two air routes connecting Ho Chi Minh city to Sydney and Melbourne.
