Through the tour, visitors can learn about famous cultural and historical heritage in Hanoi; values of Co Loa; the national construction and defense cause. They also have opportunity to make crossbows and arrows; cook and taste famous Mach Trang stir-fried rice vermicelli with water celery, which is an indispensable dish in the locality’s festivals and important events.

STID’s Director Phung Quang Thang said that through the tour, STID and Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center expect to bring new experiences to both domestic and international tourists.

According to Deputy Director of Thang Long Heritage Conservation Center Ngo Van Nam, Co Loa special national relic holds numerous potential for tourism development. The launch of the tour will be the beginning of new changes in preserving and promoting values of Co Loa heritage and turning the “heritage” into an “asset” following the capital’s guidelines on cultural industrialization.

Talking about the preparation for the new tourism product, Deputy Chairman of the People’s Committee of Co Loa commune Nguyen Kha Nghi said that the locality has mobilized local residents to clean up the environment and observe behavior rules at public places. The commune has also assigned organizations to work with the Management Board of Co Loa Relic to clean up the relic and roads to the site.
