At the event, localities, investors, tourism service providers introduced tourism potential of localities, shared experience in dealing with difficulties and shortcomings, talked about policies to attract investment and develop tourism as well as built partnership and developed solutions to enhance tourism connection and promotion, and development.
Quang Ninh, Ninh Binh and Binh Dinh boast typical cultural and natural characters and have many factors for tourism development in different types, such as heritage tourism, resort tourism, and sea and island tourism. Meanwhile, the Mekong Delta is known as a world of rivers with a density of rivers and canals and has a wetland ecosystem with coastal mangrove habitats and a diversity of cultural types, all creating great and diverse tourism potential of the Mekong Delta.
On analyzing localities’ tourism potential, representatives of localities’ leaders and tourism enterprises highlighted the connection among localities to create prominent strength and support each other in exchange of visitors among Northeastern, Southern Central coastal areas and Mekong Delta.

Addressing the event, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Tourism Administration Ha Van Sieu said that since the government allowed the reopening of tourism on March 15, 2022, Vietnam’s tourism has recovered strongly, especially inbound tourism.
“With great efforts of localities, direction and thoughtfulness of local authorities and specialized agencies, engagement of enterprises and support of local people, tourism has gained development momentum. Particularly, domestic tourism has exceeded its level in 2019, the time before the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Ha Van Sieu.
