From March 10, non-stop flights from Hanoi to Buon Ma Thuot and vice versa on Airbus A320 will be put into operation, said Vietnam Airlines on February 23.

During the first two weeks, there will be 2 flights a week on Tuesday and Sunday, then from March 25, 3 per week on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. A return ticket is expected to cost 2.8 million VND.

According to Vietnam Airlines, the opening of the new air route is considered a meaningful activity to mark the 32nd anniversary of liberating Buon Ma Thuot city.

On this occasion, the air carrier will launch a special discount promotion which gives 40% off from air tickets for veterans and army officers on service. This campaign will last until April 30. On the other hand, Vietnam Airlines will also give preferential price for the elderly, students and youth.

At present, passengers have to transit in Ho Chi Minh city or Danang city to the central highland province.
