Lao Airlines is planning to open a direct flight between Pakse-Savankhet and Da Nang (Vietnam) by the middle of April 2012.
Under the plan, there will be three flights per week between the Lao localities and the Vietnamese central City of Da Nang on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
According to officials, flights from Laos will start form Savanakhet at 10.10 a.m. and will arrive in Da Nang at 11.40am. Meanwhile, flights from Vietnam will leave Da Nang at 2.10pm and will reach Savankhet at 3.40pm.
Recently, VietJetAir announced their plan to open two new domestic air routes, namely Da Nang-Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi-Nha Trang.
The Da Nang-Ho Chi Minh City air route will officially be operational on April 27th with a consequence of 2 flights per day, while the Hanoi-Nha Trang air route is expected to commence on May 19th with a consequence of 1 flight per day.
