The number of travellers in
Vietnam is expected to increase sharply in the April 30 - May 1 period.
According to Saigontourist, over 6,600 travellers have booked domestic and foreign tours for the April 30 – May 1 holidays. This shows an increase of 20% compared to the same period last year.
Fiditour, said that 8,325 customers have booked tours on April 30th, up by 22% compared to last year’s figure.
The number of tourists taking long distance domestic tours, especially sea tours such as Nha Trang – Phan Thiet – Phu Quoc tour, Nha Trang – Da Lat tour, has also increased dramatically.
Meanwhile, tours in
China have attracted many single Vietnamese travellers whereas groups seem to prefer
Japan,
Europe and the
Republic of Korea.
