Organized by the Korea Tourism Organization, the event aimed to further popularize Korean tourism to Vietnamese in general and Hanoians in particular.

In this program, nearly 30 Korean tourist units and more than 50 Vietnamese counterparts exchanged information related to their tourism products and policies.

The participants were also introduced to Korea’s development of tourism products such as tours to places appeared in famous K-Drama, sports experience tours, and other tours to participate in 100 unique Korean festivals in 2024. Special policies of KTO to support and promote the development of diverse Korean tourism products in the Vietnamese market were also emphasized.

KTO Deputy head Lee Hak Ju hoped that this program would bring about more cooperation opportunities for the two countries’ businesses, helping to create new products, diversifying tourists’ choices when they visit the Republic of Korea in the future.

Ha Van Sieu, Deputy Director of the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism, said that both Vietnam and the RoK pay attention to tourism development and consider tourism an economic lever to boost people-to-people exchange and friendship between the two countries.

He spoke highly of the event, saying that it was a good opportunity for Vietnamese tourism businesses and Korean partners to meet, update information, negotiate and sign tourism programs with many new tourism products and incentives from the RoK, promoting tourism cooperation, increasing two-way visitor exchange, contributing to development of the Vietnam - RoK comprehensive strategic partnership.
