Vietnam is a favourite destination for French tourists, so Vietnam National Administration of Tourism is implementing a project to attract a larger number of French tourists in the coming time.

A long cultural history, world-famous landscapes, stable politics, friendly people and reasonable price services in Vietnam are factors to attract French tourists. On the other hand, French customers like adventure tours while Vietnam fully matches their needs.

At present, how to exploit the market of French tourists in the coming time is a main concern of tourism departments, because it will open more meaningful opportunities to expand European markets as well. Vietnam will provide many tourism services, such as culture, heritage, beach, resort tourism for French tourists. Besides, it is necessary to develop other attractive tourism services to attract the French to return to Vietnam several times.

In a recent project to attract more French tourists to Vietnam, various solutions have been recommended, including attracting more overseas Vietnamese in France and making them become ambassadors to promote Vietnam’s image to the French as well as opening up more tours from Vietnam to other countries in Southeast Asia to supply more choices for French tourists, hiring French consultants to build products to meet French demands or opening a website to promote Vietnam tourism to French tourists.

It is expected that Vietnam tourism, with this project, will maintain and increase French tourists up to 12 percent per year, contributing to tourism development strategy until 2020 with a vision for 2030
