According to the organizing panel, the four-day event drew the attention of nearly 2,000 businesses and 40,000 visitors.

At the closing ceremony

It is an annual event organized by the Vietnam Tourism Association. This year, the event took place in a special context as the country has experienced a two-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The VITM 2022 was seen as a significant landmark to restart activities to restore and promote the country’s tourism.

Reportedly, more than 500 enterprises from six nations and 52 provinces and cities in Vietnam participated in the VITM 2022.

At the fair, the organizing board conducted professional and promotion activities to popularize and directly supply tourism products for firms and the community via forums, conferences, seminars, and press conferences.

In addition, VITM 2022 organized a wide range of activities within the framework of the fair, including a national forum entitled “Recover Vietnam Tourism – New orientation, New activities,” a workshop to promote golf tourism, a workshop on human resources development in the tourism industry, the 5th National Congress of Vietnam Tourism Association for the 2022-2027 period, the launching ceremony of the MICE Vietnam Club, and more.
