A group of representatives of 38 large Thai travel agents is visiting Vietnam from June 4th to 7th to carry tourism surveys (famtrip) in Hanoi and Ha Long.
The program is organised by HoiAn Travel Company in coordination with Quality Express, Thailand.
A Director of HoiAn Travel said that the group of Thai tourism businesses will survey well-known tourist destinations in Hanoi and Ha Long and learn about tourism infrastructure, hotels, food and entertainment services and shopping systems in the 2 Vietnamese cities.
According to statistics from the Vietnam General Department of Tourism, there have been 55,087 Thai tourists to Vietnam in the first 4 months, up by 70.5 per cent year on year. Facts also show that many Thai tourists choose Hanoi and Ha Long as the costs of the tours are reasonable and there are many landmarks there.
