On February 5th, they granted €250 and gifts to the Veterans’ and Women’s Associations and students with high academic records in Thinh Quang precinct, Dong Da district, Hanoi.
Previously, they inquired after and gave money in cash to veterans and their relatives exposed to Agent Orange / dioxin in Thai Binh and Nghe An provinces and Hanoi.
The Vietnam Veterans’ Association in Dresden and nearby areas gathers Vietnamese and Germans of Vietnamese origin, who had joined the national resistance war against foreign invaders, now living and working in Germany.
On the annual Lunar New Year festival, the association sent a delegation home to visit and give gifts to needy veterans.
