PANO – The Ministry of Education and Training, in association with Toyota Motor Vietnam Company, on December 20 presented scholarships to 65 excellent students in mechanics, engineering, and environment majors from 10 universities in the North.
Presenting scholarships to outstanding students
Apart from scholarships, the company will offer a free business training course and hold a seminar on job orientation for the recipients to give them a chance to meet and share experiences and make the right choice for their future.
This year’s remaining 50 scholarships will be granted to students from four and two universities in the South and Central regions, respectively.
Launched by Toyota in 1997, the scholarship program aimed to encourage students to promote their studies, making contributions to Vietnam’s industrial manpower development policy. Over the past 19 years, the program has benefited more than 2,000 students with excellent academic records. Toyota also presented over 90 sets of technical equipment to help universities across the country raise their teaching and studying quality.
