They are among 26,400 primary pupils in the northern provinces of Vinh Phuc, Hai Duong, Hung Yen, Yen Bai, and Bac Giang and the central provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Quang Ngai, targeted by “Healthy nutrition for children’s growth”.
The equivalent to over 2.2 million cartons of Fami Kid soymilk will be provided free under the program that was kicked off at a ceremony in Thanh Hoa on August 29, aiming to improve mental and physical strength and reduce malnutrition for children.
Besides, the program will coordinate with localities’ authorities to organize medical checks-up, extra-curricular activities, and games.
On the occasion, Vinasoy presented 20 scholarships worth VND 1 million (USD 45) each to outstanding, needy primary pupils in Thanh Hoa provinces.
The program will later come to other provinces and cities nationwide.
