PANO - One million glasses of milk from TH True Milk Group were handed over to the Ministry of Education and Training in Hanoi on September 22nd, to provide for underprivileged students in border areas and on islands.

Knowing that nutrition is very important for human’s physical and intellectual development, the group has joined the Ministry of Education and Training in improving nutrition for poor students nationwide.

Since last November, it has provided milk on a large scale on four other occasions, for flood-hit students in Quang Ninh province and in impoverished areas.

Nearly 17 million glasses of milk have been so far presented to students of 49 provinces and cities across the country.

At the handover ceremony, the group’s CEO, Ms. Thai Huong, shared her concerns over how to assist the poorest mothers in providing sufficient nutrition for their kids, and emphasized that the group has always provided milk for students like a kind mother.

In his speech, Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan highly appreciated the group’s efforts in supporting poor mothers in caring for their children.
