Samsung international programming contest 2017 launched in Hanoi
PANO - Samsung Vietnam Mobile R&D Center (SVMC) officially launched the Samsung international programming contest on June 1 for students of universities and academies in Vietnam.

First launched in 2015, the contest has created an international playground to encourage students to approach and learn about programming skills, solve algorithms, develop ideas, apply programming architecture to life, as well as catch up with the trend of Industry 4.0.
Within the first and second rounds of the contest in Vietnam, the contestants will perform their talent on a test of algorithms and data structures. The top five contestants will compete in the final round in the Republic of Korea (RoK) on August 17 with others competitors from the RoK and India.
Speaking at the event, Huh Chang Wan, Vice President of Samsung Electronics, General Manager of SVMC hoped that the contest would create a stepping stone for young talents in the field of information technology to promote their capabilities as well as enhance Vietnam's position on the international labor market.
