Do Tuan Hoang Anh, a junior at RMIT International University Vietnam, has been lately presented a scholarship named after late professor-academician Nguyen Van Dao for his excellent results in math on the entrance examination.
This 300 million VND scholarship was given to Hoang Anh by the wife of the late professor on the 120th founding anniversary of RMIT.
Also on this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee presented two certificates of merit to RMIT Vietnam’s President Michael Mann and RMIT Vietnam’s Executive Manager Bui Vo Minh Thanh.
RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology) is among Australia’s biggest universities. It has 8 branches in Melbourne, Victoria state and Vietnam with nearly 60,000 students and 35,000 staffs.
Michael Mann, the President of RMIT Vietnam, commented that RMIT Vietnam had played a strategic role in improving regional living standards through doing research, giving lectures and studying.
