Provinces and cities asked to promote child drowning prevention

In realizing the Prime Minister’s telegram on promoting child drowning prevention on May 2 2022, the ministry asked directors of the provincial and municipal departments of education and training to direct the implementation of the Prime Minister’s and Education and Training Minister’s directives on preventing drowning among children and students.

The provincial and municipal departments of education and training were requested to promote information dissemination and education to raise students’ awareness of regulations on drowning prevention.

The departments were also asked to provide students with knowledge and essential skills, including swimming skills, to prevent drowning and accidents during summer time.
