PepsiCo Vietnam has decided to donate VND 300 million to help support Vietnamese athletes with outstanding sporting talents, but who are facing financial difficulties in their lives.

The money will come from the funds collected during the Pepsi Friendship and Charitable Golf Tournament, which was held in early December at the Song Be Golf Court, where VND 1.3 billion was raised.

The organising board of the tournament will donate the remaining VND 1 billion to help pay for heart surgery for poor children.

The money will be sent to the Quang Nam Province’s Poor Patients Supporting Association and the Vietnamese Olympic Committee. About 30 athletes will be provided with the support.
