Healthcare program held for policy beneficiaries in Hanoi
PANO - The Vietnam Young Physicians' Association, the Hanoi Young Physicians' Association, the Labor Union of Dong Da District and the district’s General Hospital collaborated to provide health check-ups, nutrition consultation, and screening tests of hypertension and diabetes for 1,200 policy beneficiaries in Dong Da district on July 23.
Over 40 medical personnel gave health check-ups to 1,200 people, who are heroic Vietnamese mothers, heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, martyrs’ families, wounded and sick soldiers, staff and laborers in 21 wards of the district.

The health check-ups were expected to help promptly detect diseases and require hospitalization for severe patients for further treatment. In addition, doctors provided medical consultation for policy beneficiaries to help them prevent diseases and conduct suitable nutrition programs and exercises.
The program was a meaningful activity, which contributed to upholding revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and national pride as well as raising awareness and responsibility of medical personnel in the national construction and development cause.
On the occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians' Association provided health check-ups for over 1,000 national contributors and policy beneficiaries in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province and collaborated with relevant agencies to give free medicine and present gifts to over 500 policy beneficiaries in Tam Hai commune of Quang Nam province.
