The health check-ups were expected to help promptly detect diseases and require hospitalization for severe patients for further treatment. In addition, doctors provided medical consultation for policy beneficiaries to help them prevent diseases and conduct suitable nutrition programs and exercises.

The program was a meaningful activity, which contributed to upholding revolutionary traditions, patriotism, and national pride as well as raising awareness and responsibility of medical personnel in the national construction and development cause.

On the occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians' Association provided health check-ups for over 1,000 national contributors and policy beneficiaries in Trieu Phong district, Quang Tri province and collaborated with relevant agencies to give free medicine and present gifts to over 500 policy beneficiaries in Tam Hai commune of Quang Nam province.
