HCMWU visits its members on traditional Chol Chnam Thmay festival
PANO – The Ho Chi Minh City Women’s Union (HCMWU), on April 13, held a meeting with its Khmer ethnic women members on the occasion of their traditional Chol Chnam Thmay festival.
Over the past time, the Khmer ethnic women members in HCM City have actively taken part in the union’s emulation movements, namely thrift practice, poverty reduction, and social welfare programs for women and children.

Also, they have exerted tiredless efforts to effectively implement Politburo’s Directive No.05, the campaign “Building a family of five-no and three-clean standards” while actively studying and working to broaden their knowledge about laws, social skills, and more.
On this occasion, the HCM City Women’s Union presented 150 gift packages to its Khmer ethnic women members.
