PANO – A delegation from Hanoi on January 30th visited and presented Tet or Lunar New Year gifts to veteran revolutionaries and national contributors in Hanoi.

During the visit, Head delegate Nguyen Duc Chung inquired after and expressed deep gratitude to the great contributions of veteran revolutionaries and national  contributors to the resistance wars for national salvation and national construction and defence cause. He also briefed them upon the outcomes of the 12th National Party Congress and achievements of the city over the past time.

All the recipients thanked the city’s care, expressed their delightedness at the success of the newly-ended 12th National Party Congress, and hoped that young leaders would promote their proactiveness and creativeness to build the capital in particular and the country in general.

This year, the city and its districts spent VND 300 billion on social and gratitude activities for policy beneficiaries, national contributors, revolutionaries, and needy people. Together with gift presentation, the city’s leaders visited, learnt about locals’ lives, and encouraged them to overcome difficulties.
