Free eye examination and gifts given to ethnic people in Ha Giang
PANO - The Ha Giang provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Mass Mobilization, the Hanoi Eye Hospital No.2, Tam An Charity Group, and other organizations and individuals jointly held a program to provide free eye examination, medicines, and gifts to ethnic students and local people on January 3 in Lung Pu commune, Meo Vac district, Ha Giang province.
During the event, the organizers presented gifts, including warm clothes, blankets, and milks to ethnic students, orphaned children, elderly people in four the communes of Lung Pu, Khau Vai, Can Chu Phin and Giang Chu Phin.

Meanwhile, the organizing panel provided free eye examination and medicines for more than 1,000 students and the elder.
According to Nguyen Thanh Nhan from Tam An Charity Group, through the program, they hoped to share part of locals’ difficulties and encourage students and ethnic people to overcome their difficulties to have better lives.

On the same day, the organizing panel inaugurated a boarding house for students from the Semi-boarding Secondary School for ethnic minority students in Khau Vai commune.
