Eleven fishermen saved at sea
PANO - The Vietnam Maritime Rescue Coordination Center successfully rescued a troubled trawler with 11 fishermen on board on January 16.

Earlier, at 20:30 on January 15, the center received a mayday signal from trawler DNa90415-TS, captained by Nguyen Nhat from Da Nang city, with 10 other crewmembers on board.
The trawler went adrift due to engine failure in bad weather while fishing about 48 nautical miles off the coast of Thua Thien-Hue province.
After receiving the information, the center sent ship SAR-412 to the rescue.
At 2:30 on Jan. 16, the ship reached the trouble trawler, gave its crewmembers first aid, and then towed the trawler ashore safely.
