At the meeting, both sides shared key achievements, exchanged experience in taking care of and protecting workers' rights. The two units also discussed effective Trade Union models and measures to improve workers’ material and spiritual lives in the future. They also exchanged experience in organizing patriotic emulation activities and building strong Trade Union organizations.

On this occasion, Can Tho city’s Federation of Labor handed over funding to assist the Dien Bien provincial Federation of Labor in building two 'Trade Union Shelters' for its needy members. 

Vice President of Can Tho city’s Federation of Labor Nguyen Ngoc Tan hoped that these gifts would be encouragement and motivation for members and their families to overcome difficulties. He added that in the future, the two sides will continue exchanges and support activities to further strengthen workers' movement.
