Addressing the event, ShimWon Hwan, CEO of Samsung Vietnam, said that last year the blood donation program attracted about 15,000 people and received 13,000 blood units, exceeding the planned target by 11 percent. With this year’s drive, Samsung Vietnam expected to mobilize more people to donate more blood.

Le Lam, Deputy Director of the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion said that this year the institute needs nearly 310,000 blood units for treatment. This year’s program will help save thousands of patients.
